I’m very behind, as I’m sure you’ve noticed. I needed a holiday break, and then we were sick, and then my Grama’s passing…it’s been hard to get back into the groove. But Stella is back now, with a long list of things I need to catch up on.
The first of which is to say a big ‘Thank you’ and ‘I’m sorry – I suck’ to the fabulous Julie from Inmates who was kind enough to bestow upon me a bloggy award. And not just any award really – this is one that means a lot to me on a personal level. The Lemonade Award is given to blogs that display attitude and gratitude, and gratitude is something that I work very hard on in my life. Despite our trials and tribulations, I know that I have a lot to be thankful for, and I try to remember to count my blessings. I am very grateful for mi vida loca.
And speaking of things I am grateful for, I am also grateful for Julie who gave me this award. I’m often a lurker who isn’t good about leaving comments, but I thoroughly enjoy your blog. I find your posts to be both insightful and inspirational, and I admire your faith and conviction.
And now I must pass this award on to bloggers who in my humble opinion also show attitude and gratitude.
1. Put the logo on your blog or post.
2. Nominate at least 10 blogs with a great attitude / gratitude.
3. Link the nominees within your post.
4. Let them know you have given the award by leaving them a comment on their blog.
5. Share the love and link this post and to the person from whom you received this award.

The very lovely Darcie at Such The Spot has bestowed on me my first bloggy award. Thank you so much!
For those of you who don’t already know her, you really should. She’s one of the coolest chickies in cyberspace, and a great writer to boot. Her blog makes me laugh on a regular basis, and I’ve even shed a few (good) tears too.
So paying it forward, I’m going to award my dear friend Peppi at It’s All About Me. She’s another great lady that I am honored to call a friend. She’s a rare find in a friend – that person who knows what you’re thinking because they are thinking the same thing. And even if you don’t talk as often as you’d like, you don’t feel like the friendship has been affected by the passage of time. An all-around high quality person, you might say.
I am also sending this out to Tracy at Sellabit Mum. She has a great sense of humor, fantastic fashion sense, and really amazing gardening tips.
She always has a new post up when I read her blog (more than I can say about myself!) and she always has amazing pictures to go along with it. And she is THE source for everything Matilda Jane. And really, who doesn’t need a little MJ in their life?
Thank you ladies for brightening my day with regularity!
