Hopelessly Flawed

Project Hope

Don’t let the blog title mislead you – I’m a gal that’s full of hope.  I serve a God that is faithful, and my trust is in Him.

But as for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more.  Psalm 71:14

I may be flawed, but He is flawless.

I would have no hope without Him.  That hope is a gift that He gave freely to me, and He wants to give it freely to you, as well.

If you are an unbeliever, I’m sure you do not want to hear a lecture.  You do not want to be preached to, or told that you are a bad person.  I understand that.   I am not here to make you uncomfortable.  I don’t believe you are a bad person.  I’ve never been much of a preacher.

I do believe that I am here for a purpose, and I do want to share what I have, that you might be missing.

Your God-shaped hole, if you will.

If you don’t have one, I would like to buy you a Bible.

That’s all – nothing more, nothing less.

I will not call, email, or write to you.  I will not bother you in any way.

I cannot promise not to pray for you…but I’ll keep it to myself. ;)

I don’t want to become an unwelcome intruder in your life, but I do want to extend this offer to anyone who needs a Bible but cannot afford one.

No one should be without a Bible because they don’t have the money.

I don’t know how I will afford them, but quite honestly, I hope this project bankrupts me.  I would love nothing more than to share the hope I have with you.  All of you.

If you need a Bible, please email me at heather@hopelesslyflawed.com and give me your mailing address.  If you need a Bible in a language other than English, let me know that, too.

If you’d like me to pray for you, if you’d like to discuss the project, if you’d like to talk about what you are reading – I’d love to hear from you.

My [virtual] door is always open.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.  Romans 15:13
