Perhaps you should sit down
Ok, that’s misleading. I have nothing exciting to say and there’s no real reason for you to sit down. I just wouldn’t want anyone to keel over in shock to see me actually blogging again.
I’m sorry dear readers (if any of you are even still around at this point!) I didn’t intend to disappear that way, and certainly not without warning. I just had some stuff that needed to be addressed, and I needed some time and space to work through it. For those of you who know me, you know I’m an optimist to the end. I don’t go around cramming sunshine up people’s butt – that’s just irritating. But I was blessed with the ability to always look on the bright side, so when some uncharacteristically less-than-lovely thoughts took over, I chose to retreat. No need to spread negativity – the world is already full of that.
Anywho…
(don’t you just hate it when people say anywho? Or is that just me?)
So, yeah. Here I am. Back and blogging, baby.
The plan is to pick right back up with Makeover Monday, the one-woman show carnival sensation, so look for that in a few days. And please, snag the button and join in! It makes me look somewhat less stupid if I’m not the only one playing. Somewhat.
And not only have I not been writing myself, but I’ve not been reading, either. Forgive me for neglecting your blogs – I’ll be making the rounds again soon, I promise. I’ve missed you.
