Instead of blogging…
here are 5 things I should be doing right now.
1) eating breakfast. I know it’s good for me, but unless I’m on vacation it just doesn’t interest me. I’m not sure why.
2) Putting away laundry. A task that is never done. The girls have 2 laundry baskets full upstairs, and we’ve been pulling clothes out of them to wear. Why do I hate putting away laundry so much? Sorting, soaking, washing, drying, folding – no problem. Putting it away is like pulling teeth.
3) Packing for Disney! We leave in 5 short days and I haven’t even started packing. I know I’m behind, but the laundry baskets are in my way. Humpf.
4) Coloring my hair. I went brunette for a while and I really liked it, but apparantly I’m the only one. I caved and went back to my natural blonde – sort of. Removing dark haircolor is hard! What I have now is more golden that it really should be, so I’m still trying to get it back to normal. And yes, I do it myself. I’m cheap.
5) Baking banana bread. We’re taking a loaf over to my parents later (Mom and Dad, if you read this just pretend to be surprised, kay?)
Now that I think about it, that last one sounds like fun. Maybe I will go and do that. And if Catie and Lilly can tear themselves away from the dress-up clothes, maybe they can help too.

5 days. I am SO JEALOUS.
You know what gets me about the laundry? The whites. I hate folding the whites. Why? That load is full of tiny pairs of panties and itty bitty white socks that I have to find matches for. Not my thing.
I want to see pictures of the new hair color. Although I imagine it looks a lot like it did when I saw you last??? I’m planning to go darker before you see me again!

Ugh, I hate putting away the laundry. But I also hate that my kids “shop” from the hampers of clean laundry in the garage. Why do we get stuck on this step?
